Doppelganger: Camel

According to Who What Wear, camel is the color that makes everything look expensive. I couldn’t agree more, especially when it’s in a wool cape. Because as a close second to camel, the cape also makes you look 10x fancier than you really are.ย _DSC7263-2

Another great advantage of capes is that they are, surprisingly, very practical. I know that the fact that they don’t really cover the arm can make them seem useless. However, their loose-fitting silhouette and arm holes instead of sleeves make them the perfect outerwear piece to layer over a chunky knit. If you don’t remember the struggleย from last winter, just put on your thickest sweater and try to put a coat on top of it. Now button it up. Now try to move. See? Capes ARE practical. What do you think?
