Every other fall, it’s pretty much the same story. I’m on the hunt for the perfect coat. This year, the Madewell Monsieur Coat caught my eye as early as August. But it sold out insanely quickly! Luckily, they restocked it quick enough for me to snag one, and I’m so happy I did. It’s gorgeous and 60% wool, but not bulky. Living in Colorado allows me to purchase coats that aren’t too thick or warm, which is nice. I actually haven’t had the chance to wear it much, even if it’s already November. This fall’s been usually warm– but I’m not complaining, as I know I’ll have plenty of time to wear it. It makes any outfit look classy and polished, but can definitely be dressed down with more boho pieces as well. It’s a win-win!

I really like how the collar reminds us of menswear coats, and it just makes it so much more interesting. 

I love that this cute kitty decided to hang out with us while we were shooting. I had to leave my cat with my dad when I left Canada, and while I love my dog, these are two very different animals and I miss the soft cuddliness of a cat. This cat was by far one of the most affectionate ones I’ve seen! 

I really like when we make our photo shoots little adventures. Start in one point, walk around, and end up at a cute little wine bar. My kind of adventure!
